VRF / VRV questions
What is the difference between VRF and VRV?
VRV is the original trade name used by Daikin, while VRF is the general industry term. Both describe variable refrigerant flow systems that connect many indoor units to outdoor condensing units with precise zone control.
Is VRF a good choice for offices, banks and malls?
Yes. VRF gives individual zone control, high part-load efficiency and flexible installation, which suits offices, bank branches, showrooms, malls and data hub support spaces.
Can you connect AHUs to a VRF system?
Yes. We have delivered projects with fresh air AHUs connected to VRF outdoor units, such as P1 Data Hub and Mazloum Tanta.
Do you retrofit old VRV systems?
Yes. For example, we replaced R-22 outdoor units with R-410A units to raise efficiency at the Ministry of Civil Aviation Medical Council.
